watch out for the rumble
May 2, 2019
There was a big motorcycle rumble in our little town Saturday. Motorcycles lined the main road. Middle-aged guys with beer bellies in motorcycle jackets roamed the sidewalks. Most of the riders seemed to belong to One Brotherhood, but the small local Ghost Mountain Riders were also well represented.
These motorcycle gangs used to look pretty rough. They weren’t quite in the same league as Hell’s Angels, but they had aspirations.
I walked past a confrontation between a Ghost Mountain Rider and two Brothers when I left the grocery store. After putting my groceries in the car, I saw the following stereotypical biker exchange:
The Ghost Mountain Rider hugged the two Brothers warmly.
“Thank you both for everything. You take care now. Be safe.”
